Homewood Suites by Hilton Columbus

My stay was enjoyed very much. Thank you to every single housekeeper. The hot breakfast wasn’t great the first day but they had more than enough to offer. The next day it was amazing! There was a breakfast server who was really a little painfully loud. She smiled a lot but I caught her rolling her eyes numerous times. And she was on the phone I believe, on an ear piece having a couple loud conversations that were probably inappropriate for where she was. But a big thank you to everyone who ensured I had a great stay. Even with the renovation going on!

All was good. The staff was top notch. The breakfast was good, diverse and filling. We had a bedroom and living room suite. The furniture needs to go. Very dirty, greasy. Cushions are flat. But, this is good stay that needs a refresh. Still recommended.

A very nice hotel located a short drive from downtown Columbus. Homewood Suites by Hilton, founded in 1989, is an upscale, all-suite, extended-stay brand under Hilton Worldwide, with more than 530 locations across the United States and several in Georgia. This property is a mid-rise building near a lot of stores and restaurants. It is located on the south side of Whittlesee road and just off SR 80, making it easy to get around the area. Check-in was quick and the lady that checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel shows a little age in spots but was clean and comfortable. Our suite was large and well laid out, though the shared TV positioned between the bedroom and seating area was a bit awkward. The rear entrance door was broken during our visit, which made returning from the parking lot slightly inconvenient (you had to go around to the front door), but overall, the property felt secure and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was nice and the hotel had a nice eating area just behind the entrance area. Overall, this Homewood Suites in Columbus, GA, provided an enjoyable and relaxing stay for us and I would recommend it for fellow travelers visiting the area.

Rooms were good , bed comfortable. Needs some esthetic upgrades with furniture but clean which is important. Front desk staff helpful with a Location located near interstate which was helpful. Building up the area but not a lot food choices near by

Really nice place to stay! We were greeted by Justin as we walked into the lobby. He was very attentive to us and welcomed us as diamond members. The king-bed studio we stayed in fir thw weekend was a good size. The only negative would be this hotel is in need of an upgrade. Stains on carpets, cracks in shower tiles, etc. The free breakfast had a lot to offer. Breads, meat, coffee, juices, cereal, etc. I'll always wish for real scrambled eggs, but I'll take what I can get. Would be a five-star visit were it not for the need to update the hotel!

Our stay at the Columbus, GA Homewood Suites was truly memorable, thanks largely to the incredible staff. While the guest rooms are a bit dated, it does appear the hotel is actively renovating from the ground floor up. The lobby is absolutely beautiful, and the pool and fire pit area are cozy, clean, and very well maintained. The manager’s reception on Wednesday night was especially welcoming—it truly felt like being with family. Due to an unexpected delivery issue, the breakfast offering was fairly sparse, but that small inconvenience was completely overshadowed by the exceptional service. By far, the most outstanding part of our stay was the hotel manager and her entire team. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and genuinely welcomed. Their kindness, professionalism, and warmth made all the difference. Even as we left, one of the cleaning staff came out to the car to wish us safe travels Thank you to the entire Homewood Suites team for making our stay so special—we truly felt at home!

My room was clean and smelled fresh. Overall it was an enjoyable stay. Ms. Pat went above and beyond. She shoud be given a raise. She was polite and willing to help with anything. Some of the front desk could staff could use some refresher training on how to greet and treat the customers. I met Justin on his way in yesterday and he was pleasant friendly and helpful. It is time for an update, but my room wasn't run down or anything. My faucet only had one side that would come on and maintenance was sent to correct the issue he was polite and friendly and fixed the problem. Breakfast was good, but could use some more variety. Ms. Jolene was also helpful during check in to help the young lady to look up Travel Agent rates. Its time to replace the pillows. They go completely flat.

Hotel staff is second to none. Monique aka "Ms Mo" hosted a trivia event during the Wednesday complementary happy hour social. She was amazing! Free beer, wine, water, sodas and appetizers was nice. Hotel needs to be modernized. Several material issues, however the pool deck was serviceable and refreshing. Serveral restaurants within easy walking distance. Free parking and pet friendly.
